First off, welcome to Miss Dollywood!
Now to the real business.
I know you're probably thinking, "What's Miss Dollywood." Well, that's what I'm going to tell you!
I'm sure you've all heard of Miss Stardoll World. It's an annual competition on Stardoll that takes finalists from many countries and has eliminations until the ultimate medoll is crowned Miss Stardoll World. Last year's winner was the beautiful, amazing, and super sweet perilice2 from Turkey!
What is SMD (Stardoll Miss Dollywood)?
SMD is a Stardoll beauty pageant like MSW. The difference is that MSW looks for the prettiest dolls with the most amazing suites. SMD looks for inner beauty, as well as self-expressive suites and style. The goal of SMD is to let your true colors show!
SMD was created by me, mskendall4198. Why? Because I received a guestbook comment about someone wanting to run for MSW, and I got to thinking.
I know I should have confidence in myself, but I also doubted myself. Stardoll, as well as the voters, look for beautiful dolls with many starpoints, who have won Covergirl a few times, maybe the album or scenery competitions, and dolls with amazing suites.
In other words, it seems impossible for someone like me to win. I don't spend hundreds of dollars on stardollars to buy things for my suite. I buy clothes, dress to impress, and fly below the radar on Stardoll, as do many people.
SMD is a competition for those who feel like me. Who want to win something, not based off of their looks, but based of of who they are! That's the main goal of SMD!
How it works:
ANYONE can be in this competition (unless I check your suite and you post rude, derogatory, or inappropriate things)! YOU MUST HAVE 200 STARPOINTS! You can find the entry form here! Just fill it out! I will check the blog often. When an entry is added, I will check the entrant's suite. If I find they are suitable to participate, I will contact them and place a 5 stardollar, or 50 starcoin item in my bazaar and reserve it for them. That item is an entry fee to be in the competition. If you do not pay it before the deadline, you will not be accepted. I will choose 30 contestants. I will alert you 1 week before the deadline.
This is how the competition will work:
The 30 entrants will be split into: 6 groups of 5 (Not to work together, just to make the elimination process easier). The 30 contestants will be given a task, whether it be an outfit, a scenery, a writing task, etc. They will have 3 days to complete the task. Then, the entries will be posted by groups. Voters will vote for once for each group. The results will be posted the following day, after the polls have been up a reasonable amount of time. The person with the lowest number of votes from each group will be eliminated. When 6 contestants are left, there will be no more groups. Just those 6. They will have 1 task. The top 2 will be placed in the finals, where all their entries, plus one final task will be posted. The person who gets the highest number of votes in the finals wins the following prizes:
-The title of Miss Dollywood
-A Stardollar Prize
-A special page on this blog
-A post about them on mskendall4198.blogspot.com
-A writing position on mskendall4198.blogspot.com
-A special SMD poster
If you are chosen:
1.) You will be in the competition
2.) You will be placed in a group
3.) You are required to pay a 5 stardollar or 50 starcoin fee via starbazaar
4.) You MUST advertise this blog and competition on your presentation
5.) You must follow these rules:
a. Be kind and respectful to everyone
b. Do not partner or team up with other contestants
c. Do not drop out (If you do, you will not be refunded)
d. If you skip a task, you will be eliminated
e. YOU MUST PAY THE $5 FEE
f. YOU MUST ADVERTISE THIS COMPETITION ON YOUR PRESENTATION
g. No stealing, plagiarism, or photoshopping
h. No copying
i. No getting help from other people
